Composé sur le dernier trimestre de 2020 (et le début de 2021) à partir de matériaux datant, pour certains de l'été de la même année, pour d'autres de plusieurs années auparavant, "la vacance au poitrail" est un item composite ; une succession de tableaux versatile, une tétralogie réservé aux développements et enchaînements éparses, parfois abruptes, évoquant la désagrégation de mondes individuels et partagés, ou plutôt leurs lentes métamorphoses.

Enfin, beaucoup de mots pour décrire la sourde difficulté du "vivre". Quoi de plus banal, étrange et intense que la lente dissolution d'une réalité en une autre, en vérité?

Composed in the last quarter of 2020 (and the beginning of 2021) from materials dating, for some from the summer of the same year, for others from several years earlier, "la vacance au poitrail" is a composite item; a succession of versatile paintings, a reserved tetralogy with scattered, sometimes abrupt developments and sequences, evoking the disintegration of individual and shared worlds, or rather their slow metamorphoses.

Finally, many words to describe the dull difficulty of "living". What could be more banal, strange and intense than the slow dissolution of one reality into another, indeed?
